3-hour swimming event for Gera schools

Amthorschule took part in the Gera Schools 2025 endurance swim with 18 swimmers.
Three of the girls beat the old school record from last year. The new record now stands at 6000 metres set by Marie. Oliver and Carlos also surpassed the 6000 metre mark in the boys' category, but missed the old record by 100m and 200m respectively.
With these outstanding performances, we managed to achieve 5th place in the school ranking of IGS, grammar schools and vocational schools. Our best team finished in 4th place, narrowly missing out on the medals.
