Heike Drechsler Cup for primary schools

To ensure the smooth running of the Heike Drechsler Cup, BG 24-2 took part as competition judges. 10 primary schools, each with 10 competitors, competed for medals and trophies in the white jump, long jump, sprint and relay events. The committed participation of the 1st-4th graders was very impressive. Heike Drechsler, the 1992 Olympic long jump champion, who had just travelled from Finland, led the warm-up for the children herself and gave tips on her speciality sport, the long jump, directly on the course.
