I started playing roller hockey at the age of 3 at RSC Gera e.V.. At the age of 12, I was included in the extended squad of the U15 national team for the first time. Here I was able to gain my first experience at international tournaments. Last year, I made it to the U17 national team and took part in my first European Championship in Spain.
This year, I was again nominated for the U17 national team and was allowed to captain my team at the European Championship in Corregio (Italy) from 28.08.2023 - 02.09.2023. After a good start into the tournament and a second place in the preliminary round group, we had to admit defeat in the quarter finals against a strong Italian team. In the last two games, we were also unable to match our performance at the beginning of the tournament and fell back to 8th place.
Even though we had hoped for a better ranking, it was a special experience for the whole team.
