1st Gera City Beach Volleyball Championships
The Gera City Beach Volleyball Championships took place for the first time on 10 June 2025. Our school was very well represented in terms of numbers and managed to successfully assert itself in the tournament - twice 2nd place and once 3rd place.
The tournament was played in three categories: Women's Doubles, Men's Doubles and Mixed Doubles. With slightly different rules, all the teams performed brilliantly and demonstrated their skills on the sand! Many thanks to all the teams and also to Adrian from the budding photographer class, who captured this competition in pictures for us.
Results:
2nd place women's doubles (Livia Lägel/Antonia Götze), 4th place (Rijana Momi/Sanne Kaufmann)
2nd place mixed doubles (Juliette Appelfelder/Moritz Herzog), 4th place (Jenny Geßner/Nils Conrad)
2nd place men's doubles (Paul Strehlow/Tristan Brechmann), 5th place (Alois Hantel/Tom Greiner), 6th place (Luca Frank Weißenborn/Michel Oertel), 7th place (Lukas Geibel/Christoph Seidemann)
