3-hour swimming of the Gera schools 2024

Our Amthorschule is taking part in this year's Gera schools' endurance swim with ten swimmers. Nine participants can enter their distance in the ranking. Andrii, the best boy, achieved 6,400 metres, an incredibly good performance. Lara and Isabell set a new school record for the girls with 4,900 metres each. Also a huge feat of strength. In total, all participants from the Amthorschule swam 40.3 kilometres in three hours. That's an average of 4,477 metres for the participating pupils. Amazing ... what an achievement. This puts Amthorschule in 5th place in the competition of all grammar schools, comprehensive schools and vocational schools.
