3-Hour-Swim

12 pupils from the Amthor School took part in this year's Gera schools' 3-hour swim at the Hofwiesenbad on 25.03.2023. 7 of them were able to contribute more than 1000 m for the school ranking. There were also two pupils of non-German origin, which is particularly noteworthy as they only recently learned to swim. With the total metres swum by these seven participants, the Amthor School came 7th out of all the participating schools.
Also worth mentioning is the performance of Imo Zepnik from BG 21, who swam 6000 metres, far above the average distance of 4800 metres swum by all participants in the competition.
